How long have you worked at QBS and what is your role? I have been working with QBS for about 3 months now. I started out as the receptionist, and shortly thereafter, I transitioned to my new role as an administrative assistant. In my current role, I assist the Payroll and Benefits teams in multiple different functions needed to provide the best experience for our clients.
What’s your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is definitely all the different animals. You can always count on Flynn and Polly (Pamela and David’s dogs) to come see you when they get to the office… well, only if you have treats.
What is one of the biggest challenges you face in your role? Since I am fairly new, the biggest challenge I face in my role is learning each clients’ and Payroll Administrators’ needs. Just like every client is different, every payroll is different.
What do you believe is the most unique aspect of working at QBS? The most unique aspect of QBS is the family feel. As soon as you walk in the door, you can tell that we aren’t your typical company. QBS cares about each and every one of their employees and clients. I have never been at a company where people are willing to go completely out of their way to help someone else.
What’s one interesting fact about you that we may not know? An interesting fact that most people don’t know about me is that I coach for Carolina One Volleyball. When I am not at QBS, I will most likely be on a volleyball court hanging out with fourteen of my favorite 15 year-olds!
