Travelers Rest, S.C., October 17, 2018 — Quality Business Solutions, Inc.’s (QBS) Director of Information Technology Morgan Willingham has been named as one of the honorees for this year’s inaugural SC CIO Awards.
The awards recognize South Carolina-based Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), VPs of Information Technology, IT Directors, etc. who have demonstrated the following key characteristics: the ability to work productively with business partners, the alignment of technology direction with the company’s strategy, innovation either internally or in the form of new products or services, growth in their information technology team, demonstration of strong leadership and involvement in their community.
Integrated Media Publishing and AcumenIT will honor the 2018 recipients of the SC CIO Awards on Thursday, November 1 at the SC State Museum in Columbia, SC. Recipients were selected by a team of external judges that reviewed their nomination form and scored based on a series of questions answered detailing their work accomplishments. The scores were averaged which determined the top recipients.

The SC CIO Awards was formed to recognize IT talent in South Carolina.
