There are currently 29 states that allow you to mandate that your employee receive an electronic form of payment (Direct deposit/Pay card). How would this benefit you? It would provide a cost savings from printing and shipping checks to your multiple location(s). Even if you do not use time clocks in your business, your employees can still access this same information via our web system. So either way, you can save significant money—as well do your part for the environment by “Going Green.”

For instance, employees who have bank or credit union accounts, we are able to provide direct deposit at no charge. If you have employees who are not able to have a bank account, for whatever reason, we are able to offer a Pay Card thru Wachovia/Wells Fargo that gives your employees the ability to receive their pay electronically, just as if they had direct deposit. It is not a credit card, so there are no credit applications to complete, just a simple enrollment form, and if used correctly, this card carries no fees. And believe it or not, there are businesses who do not accept cash anymore. This card gives your employee’s the ability to rent a car, book an airline ticket, or shop online with ease.
QBS has also been able to negotiate a nationwide “no check-cashing fee” arrangement with Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank. Your employees can simply walk into any Wachovia/Wells Fargo branch—whether they are account holders or not—and simply present their check. The teller will cash it for free.
