How long have you worked at QBS and what is your role? I have worked at QBS for a year and a half and I do all aspects of taxation in my role as Tax Administrator.
What’s your favorite part of your job? I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the more difficult tax problems.
What is one of the biggest challenges you face in your role? Much of our work in the tax department is at quarter- and year-end and we only have a short period to complete a large quantity of returns.
QBS was just named to the SC Best Places to Work for the 3rd year running, what do you think makes QBS a great place to work? When there is a problem, everyone jumps in and works together as a team, regardless of assigned department, to fix it.
What’s one interesting fact about you that we may not know? Though I have lived in South Carolina for 10 years, I grew up in and around the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.
Anything else you’d like to share? (Family, Hobbies, etc.?) My wife Ginger, my daughter Georgia and I enjoy all Clemson sports. We are also Georgia Bulldogs softball fans. We attend as many events as we are able!
