Travelers Rest, S.C. (October 29, 2019) – Quality Business Solutions, Inc. (QBS) was chosen as one of South Carolina’s 25 Fastest Growing Companies. This year’s winners were honored at a luncheon at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center where QBS founder Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, was the keynote speaker.
“As Pamela and I have always said, God dreamed a much bigger dream for us than we could’ve dreamed for ourselves” said QBS President David Evette. “We’ve hit obstacles, taken big risks, sped up, and slowed down – but all the while we’ve always believed in the goal of helping our clients grow by removing the burden of payroll and other back-office functions. We are proud to call SC home and it was an honor to stand alongside so many exceptional organizations and talented business leaders.
To be eligible for the SC 25 Fastest Growing Companies Award, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina and be in business for at least three years and show revenues of more than $3 million in the last fiscal year. The companies are selected using a calculation based on year-over-year growth of revenue and employee headcount over the last three years (2016, 2017 and 2018).
Primary sponsors of the SC 25 Fastest Growing Companies competition are The Capital Corporation, KeenanSuggs-HUB, Insurance, PNC Bank, and A.T. Locke, total accounting and Integrated Media Publishing, publishers of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, and Charleston Business Magazine.
Representatives of The Capital Corporation and partner sponsors made on-site visits of nominees to interview key personnel and view company operations.
“We are pleased with the strong nominations this year” said George Moseley, principal of The Capital Corporation.
“It is an honor to be involved in recognizing the growth of South Carolina’s companies,” said Lori Coon, publisher of Columbia Business Monthly and Greenville Business Magazine and Charleston Business Magazine.
Once all the data is in hand, the selections are made. Winners are notified, but not given their ranking until the awards luncheon.
“There are more people working in South Carolina than even before, and that is thanks in no small part to companies like 9 Round, Swampfox Technologies, JEAR Logistics, and the other 2019 SC Fastest Growing award winners. I congratulate them all and wish them many more successful years here in the Palmetto State.” Governor Henry McMaster.
“In addition to hiring people and paying taxes, people who build small businesses often become leaders in their communities. They have a vested interest in their local community’s success because it is often interconnected with their company’s ability to grow and prosper. I congratulate these South Carolina companies being honored today for the positive impact they are having on our state and wish them continued growth and success in the future.” Curtis Loftis State Treasurer
