How long have you worked at QBS and what is your role?
I started with QBS as a contract employee through Robert Half in December 2019. I just celebrated my one year anniversary in May as a Benefit Administrator with QBS. In my role, I review monthly insurance invoices sent to our clients for any discrepancies and if needed, make corrections in our internal system or directly with the insurance company. I also handle medical support orders for employees working for our clients.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
In my job, I enjoy working closely with our clients as well as their employees to ensure their benefits are managed properly and that they have the support they need.
What is one of the biggest challenges you face in your role?
I suppose I’m lucky, but I haven’t experienced any significant challenges so far!
What makes QBS different/unique from other places you’ve worked?
Working at QBS is like working with family. We are a very close knit group, and from everything I have seen, employees truly want to help each other.
What would you be doing for a career if you weren’t doing this?
I have worked in human resources and/or payroll for many years; I cannot imagine doing anything else.
What’s one interesting fact about you that we may not know?
I honestly don’t have any hidden talents or secrets — I’m an open book!

I have two adult children and 3 wonderful granddaughters that I enjoy spending as much time with as possible. I also enjoy gardening, floral arranging, and travel.
