How long have you worked at QBS and what is your role?
My 1-year anniversary with QBS was on Sept. 25th. As the Senior IT Administrator for QBS, I take care of day to day problems that involve troubleshooting any issues with PCs, Servers, Printers, etc. I also work alongside various vendors to set up new clients with our time and attendance software. I also troubleshoot any technical issues that arise here at the office or as the clients utilize our systems. In the IT department we try our best to make sure everyone is able to work smoothly and efficiently.

What unique challenges do you face as the Senior IT Administrator?
In my opinion, the most challenging aspects of the position have to do with making sure we are always up to date with new software changes/updates. Things change very quickly and it is our job to ensure that we keep up with it all!
With 2016 fast approaching, are there any new IT features/capabilities on the horizon for QBS or its customers?
In the IT department we are excited about a new tool that will allow us to provide better user support by upgrading our current method of remote desktop. This tool will allow us to respond more quickly to incoming issues. We hope to have this implemented before 2016!
